My main aim this morning is to tell you about one of successful international company
I Firstly, I would tell you about history this company and about structure.
II Secondly, I am going to present product and sales technique.
III I would like to finish off by talking about current position and future plans.

Lets get started.
(slide 4) Company was founded in 1959 by Jay Van Andel and Richard DeVos and called name Ja-Ri (Jay and Richard). In 2000, company reorganized as Alticor in 2000. Headquartered based in Ada, Michigan.
Alticor is a direct selling company, and manufacturer. Their sells a variety of products, primarily in the health, beauty, and home care markets.
(slide 5) Alticor expanded overseas to Australia in 1971, to Europe in 1973, to parts of Asia in 1974, to Japan in 1979, to Latin America in 1985, to China in 1995, to Africa in 1997, to India and Scandinavia in 1998, to Russia in 2005, and to Vietnam in 2008. And novadays more than 80 countries and parts of World.
Alticor conducts business through a number of affiliated companies in more than ninety countries and territories around the world. It is ranked by Forbes as one of the largest private companies in the United States and by Deloitte agency as one of the largest retailers in the world.
(slide 6) In 2000 the founders of the Alticor corporation established a new holding company, named Alticor, and launched three new companies, 1) a sister (and separate) Internet-focused company named Quixtar, 2) Access Business Group, and 3) American Way Company
(slide 7) Its product lines include home care products, personal care products, jewelry, electronics, Nutrilite dietary supplements, water purifiers, air purifiers, insurance and cosmetics
Alticor is using direct selling method. Also Company is a member of WFDSA. In Russia present as DSA.
(slide 8) Some words about this technique promotion.
Usually, the goods move from manufacturing floor to retailer outlet. How many middleman between manufacturing and customer? There are international, national and regional distributors, transport costs and of course the profit margin of the retail outlet selling. And all wants to make money. Also advertising and brand name include into the cost. Why we must to pay for expensive advertising as TV and Billboard, Why we must pay celebrities who advertise our product? Direct selling don’t spend money for this, Direct selling use cheap and more effective advertising – word of mouth.
I don’t work on this company, but I have card of discount. Also, if somebody buy a my ID card, I make some money on my ID card.

I would like to tell you about successes of the company in Russia.
The company and family of companies under Alticor reported sales growth of 2.3%, reaching US $8,4 billion for the year ending December 31, 2009
In Russia, Alticor went in march 2005. and sales was rising before 2008. As you know, in this time was world crisis. And in 2008 years, sales droop down. In 2009 years sales increasing by 40 % as compared with 2008 year. In 2010, Company launched new product in Russia market – It is ICook – Cookware.
In first half a year sales was rising, and we hope that it trend will continue.
(slide 10) Also I would like to tell you about charity this company. Company cooperate with UNICEF and launch program “One by One” “smile child”.
